ADDI Medical digital solutions offer a completely new way for involving patients in their health management by giving them a central role in this process and empowering them to perform a variety of activities that were unavailable within the traditional model.

To do that we have developed the HOPE Platform, a communication platform and hub for information flow around patient health. It increases patient agency and enables much easier information access, input, and transfer for all relevant stakeholders: patients themselves, healthcare providers, academia and the pharmaceutical industry.

HOPE for multimorbidity

– gives patients and care teams a shared digital decision support when multiple chronic conditions intersect

Multimorbid patients account for half of all healthcare costs and half of all emergency visits – yet care is still organized around individual diagnoses.

HOPE changes this. Clinical decision support driven by rule-based AI, individualized self-care plans updated in real time, and the patient as an active partner. Developed and validated through the EU’s CareMatrix project – where 29 consortia submitted bids and two remained after three procurement phases. ADDI Medical was one of them.

HOPE DropROP

– empowers parents to become partners in care and paves the way for a safer, non-invasive treatment of ROP

The DROPROP study investigates whether corticosteroid eye drops can replace current invasive treatment of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) in preterm infants. Through the digital platform HOPE (ParentROP), parents become active partners – administering treatment at home, documenting in an electronic diary, and tracking their child’s outcomes in the app. The solution demonstrates how digital support can transform the relationship between parents and healthcare in complex pediatric conditions.
